Our take
Organic Maps is the one to recommend for most people leaving Google Maps: fully offline, free, open source, no ads, no tracking, and a clean interface that does not make you fight it. The trade for that simplicity is that its routing and live data are not as rich as Google’s, so it is best for hiking, cycling, and travel rather than real-time traffic-heavy city driving. For everyday private navigation that just works, it hits the sweet spot.
