Our take
Cookie AutoDelete wipes a site’s cookies the moment you close its tab, which kills the persistent identifiers that let sites recognize you across sessions. The trade is friction: you will be logged out of things constantly unless you carefully whitelist the sites you trust, and many people give up and over-whitelist. It rewards the disciplined and annoys everyone else; if container tabs already cover you, you may not need it at all.
