Our take
If all you need is phishing-resistant FIDO2 login for web accounts and password managers, the Yubico Security Key does the job at roughly half the price of the 5 Series. The trade-off is scope: it drops TOTP, PIV smart card, and OpenPGP support entirely. That is fine for most people who just want to stop password and SMS-based account takeovers, but users who need a single key that also handles SSH keys or encrypted email should step up to the 5 Series instead.
