A decentralized, blockchain-backed video platform built on LBRY, useful mainly as a place creators can publish that is harder to deplatform than the mainstream sites. The honest tradeoff is that decentralization brings uneven content quality and a smaller audience, and the crypto-tipping layer will not interest everyone. A reasonable second home for creators who want resilience and ownership; not a like-for-like swap for a big streaming site’s catalog or polish.
