Our take

NewsFlash is the most polished RSS front-end on the GNOME desktop and a natural companion if you already run a self-hosted feed service. The design is clean, keyboard navigation works throughout, and the adaptive layout scales down for smaller screens. The limitation to know upfront is that it is primarily a sync client, not a standalone reader. If you do not have an existing feed service account, you will need to set one up first. Linux-only and squarely aimed at GNOME users, though it runs fine on other GTK desktops.
