Ente Authenticator is the rare open-source 2FA app that does end-to-end encrypted cloud backup and syncs across both Android and iOS, which solves the new-phone headache that trips up offline-only apps. You are trusting Ente’s servers to hold your encrypted backup, but the encryption is the point and an offline mode exists if you would rather not. For people who want their codes to survive a lost phone and follow them between platforms, this is the easy recommendation.
