Duck.ai is DuckDuckGo’s private AI chat interface. It gives you access to multiple AI models (including options from OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, and Mistral) without creating an account. DuckDuckGo strips metadata from requests before forwarding them, and model providers are contractually barred from training on your conversations or storing them beyond the immediate session.

Our take
Duck.ai is the lowest-friction private AI option available: no signup, no installation, free, and usable today in any browser. The privacy guarantees are contractual rather than cryptographic, so you are trusting DuckDuckGo’s agreements with the model providers rather than a technical control. That is a meaningful limitation compared to local or zero-access options, but for most casual use cases it is a practical, good-enough answer. Skip it if your prompts contain genuinely sensitive material; reach for it if you want ChatGPT-class responses without handing your query history to OpenAI.
